Cancer research
16th December 2022
As part of our year 9 group, we decided to fundraise for Cancer Research.
This was chosen by pupils amongst a wide range of other charities.
As part of our fundraising campaign, we decided to organize a 1K a day campaign.
We asked both friends and families to sponsor £1 per 1k that our year group walked.
This took place during our Halloween break.
With 123 pupils, 5 teachers and 12 classroom assistants we are delighted to donate
£650 to Cancer Research.
We hope that this donation will help and assist you in your charities work and efforts in combating
Cancer. Unfortunately, many of our pupils have had a firsthand
experience in dealing with a loved one having cancer. However, many have benefited from
your excellent endeavors and support in combating Cancer.
