This week, we were privileged to welcome Oisín McConville into our school to deliver a powerful and thought-provoking talk on the dangers of gambling.

Oisín is a legendary Gaelic footballer, an All-Ireland winner with Armagh, and a six-time All-Ireland Senior Club champion with Crossmaglen Rangers. Off the pitch, he has become one of Ireland’s leading voices on gambling addiction, bravely sharing his own journey of recovery following a life-threatening addiction.

Now a qualified addictions counsellor and Gambling Care ambassador, Oisín delivered a raw, honest, and impactful message that truly resonated with our students. His talk highlighted the importance of making informed choices, seeking support, and looking out for one another.

A huge thank you to Oisín for taking the time to speak with our students and for sharing such an important and inspiring message.
