National Awards For Pastoral Care In Education

Following our recent success at the 2024 Families First Awards, where we were Highly Commended, St Kevin's College is thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted for the prestigious National Awards For Pastoral Care In Education!

We have been placed in the category for Outstanding Contribution to Pastoral Care.

These UK-wide awards aim to recognize outstanding achievements across pastoral care in education settings.

Congratulations to all those named as finalists - we're already looking forward to the awards ceremony on 11th October.

Baking up a storm!

We have had plenty of treats this week as Mrs MacDonald our Vice Principal celebrated her birthday with a speically made cake by Donnácha - We can assure you it was lovely as we had a little taste test - We wish her many happy returns as she tells us this is now her birthday month!

Following on from that we had Donnácha's mummy deliver some lovely treats to the staff here at Saint Kevin's College for their hard work over the year - these were very well received.

A visit from the Bishop of Kitui

14th June 2024

Our Carlo Acutis Student group who are travelling to Kitui in January 2025 met with the Bishop of Kitui in Kenya this week as they finalize the itinerary for the trip - Bishop Joseph Maluki Mwongela was accompanied by Father Jeramiah Mynoki who is curate in our neighboring Bundoran parish.

We were delighted to have him visit and we look forward to seeing him again in January on our visit!
