Sponges were flying and buckets of water were soaring as students and staff enjoyed 'Soak the Staff Day,' organized by Shannon to raise funds for Dementia NI. The photos reveal some surprised faces as students and staff threw sponges to drench the staff!

Shannon was assisted by Aoife, Meabh in Year 13, and several Year 12 students, including Conor, Brandon, Joseph, Chloe, and Caoimhe.

Miss Jamieson and Shannon would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the Soak the Teachers event a success! Your support was invaluable.

Shannon has successfully raised £371.17 for Dementia NI! Please convey our gratitude to your form classes for their generous donations to this wonderful cause.

Today, eight students from the KS3 ICT Club at St Kevins visited the Computer Science Building at Queens University Belfast to participate in the IglooCode 2025 competition. Numerous schools from across Northern Ireland competed in teams of four. Students were introduced to one another through a "Human Bingo" icebreaker activity and then got a taste of student life by attending their first lecture on "Cybersecurity".

After a brief break, students engaged in a series of challenges that prompted them to think about Scratch, Python, C#, Binary, and Number formats. They worked diligently in their teams to complete tasks and accumulate points. We are now awaiting the results to see which teams scored the highest on the day. Overall, the students had a fantastic day, and the ICT department was thrilled to witness such enthusiasm for the subject.

Congratulations to everyone involved.

Staff and students from Saint Kevin's College participated in a segment of the three-day journey from Lough Derg to Enniskillen, traveling past Boa Island, Davy’s Island, White Island, Castle Archdale, Killadeas, and Devenish Island. The last day is dedicated to a comprehensive exploration of Enniskillen’s rich history and cultural heritage.

Pluto even made a guest appearance! Everyone was happy to see him!

This Fermanagh Camino raised funds for Cancer Connect NI.
