Congratulations to our Year 8 Netball team, led by captain Emma, for their participation in the Fermanagh and Tyrone Schools Netball competition this year. The girls first competed in the Fermanagh Schools blitz, where they faced off against Devenish College, St Aidan’s, Enniskillen Royal Grammar, Mount Lourdes, and St Mary's Irvinestown.

Following this, the team qualified for and competed in the Fermanagh and Tyrone Schools Netball Plate finals on Tuesday at Drumglass High School. They encountered strong competition from Drumglass High School, St Patrick’s Dungannon, St John’s Dromore, and St Mary's Irvinestown.

Our team narrowly missed securing third place by just one point! Special recognition goes to all the girls for representing themselves and the school admirably throughout the competition, demonstrating respect and honing essential skills like teamwork and leadership. We also extend our gratitude to St Fanchea’s and Drumglass for hosting and organizing the event!

Congratulations to Aoibheann, Alannah, and Orlaith's team for securing 3rd place in Class 6 (90cm) in their horse riding competition!

All seven girls performed brilliantly, and we had a small celebration at lunch today.

Sponges were flying and buckets of water were soaring as students and staff enjoyed 'Soak the Staff Day,' organized by Shannon to raise funds for Dementia NI. The photos reveal some surprised faces as students and staff threw sponges to drench the staff!

Shannon was assisted by Aoife, Meabh in Year 13, and several Year 12 students, including Conor, Brandon, Joseph, Chloe, and Caoimhe.

Miss Jamieson and Shannon would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the Soak the Teachers event a success! Your support was invaluable.

Shannon has successfully raised £371.17 for Dementia NI! Please convey our gratitude to your form classes for their generous donations to this wonderful cause.
