Tonight was nothing short of magical as our staff and students took to the red carpet at the Oak Healthy Living Film Awards, celebrating creativity, community, and compassion. Everyone looked absolutely fantastic — dressed to impress!

We are incredibly proud to sponsor this amazing event, which is not only a celebration of talent but also a powerful fundraiser for our local community. The funds raised will go toward much-needed facilities that support health, well-being, and opportunity for all.

Congratulations to Paul McLaughlin for winning our 'Best Male Actor Award' for his performance in the film 'Taken'.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this event to life — your energy, passion, and commitment to making a difference truly shone through.

For the last number of years St Kevin’s College Governors & Chair of the Board of Governors Thomas O’Reilly, the Department of Education, the Department of Finance CPD & Samuel Stevenson & Sons Architects have all worked extremely hard to get this new state of the art school building ready for construction.  The project is being delivered as part of the Department of Education’s School Enhancement Programme.

St Kevin’s Principal Gary Kelly & Chair of Governors said they are delighted that Lowry Construction have been appointed as the builders for the new school building today and we are very much looking forward to building work starting over the summer holidays for completion in Term 1 of 2026.  We would like to thank the Department of Education and their technical advisors along with Samuel Stevenson & Sons Architects for all their efforts & commitment in designing & progressing this wonderful new school building towards construction and signing of the building contracts today.

This new building will provide students in St Kevin’s College with state of the Art Facilities in Technology, Engineering and Construction as well as sector leading suites in Music, Drama and Performing Arts, along with other classrooms used to teach many subjects.  Finally we would like to thank school Trustee Canon Jimmy McPhillips for making this all possible.
