Our student council received an invitation from Thomas O'Reilly chairman of the Fermanagh and Omagh district council to visit the townhall in Enniskillen to hold their student council meeting. The visit was a great opportunity for the students to see the running of an official council meeting and ask lots of questions! The event was followed by a little trip to McDonalds before we headed back to lessons!
Aidan one of our students said 'We thank Mr O'Reilly and the staff in the town hall for making us feel so welcome, it was a great visit and give us plenty of insight into the running of the meetings - we discussed important issues relating to school life and we have made our voices heard as we represent our classes.'
