On Thursday, January 16th, 2025, Fermanagh GAA Chairman Mr. Brian Armitage and Fermanagh Schools Development Officer Mr. Pat Cadden visited St. Kevin’s College to present students traveling to Kenya, Africa, on Monday, January 20th, 2025, with a complete set of Fermanagh GAA home and away jerseys to be donated to Africa.
The staff and students of St. Kevin’s College plan to teach the pupils of Kitui, Kenya, how to play Gaelic football and intend to host a match between the students of Kitui and pupils of St. Kevin’s College using the Fermanagh GAA home and away kits.
Mr. Kelly, expressed his delight in welcoming Mr. Armitage and Mr. Cadden to the school and thanked them for their generous donation of two sets of Fermanagh GAA full team kits, along with several new footballs for the children in Kenya. He remarked that it’s fantastic that the green of Fermanagh will be seen on the fields of Kenya, truly bringing Fermanagh GAA to a global stage.
